always forward thinking

Promoting a sustainable, circular economy

Ultimately, it is our goal to maximize the value of trash to have the highest likelihood of being recycled. Our desire is to purchase recycled materials, create our vessels, and then have our vessels recyclable at the end of life. It’s a constantly evolving process and we are committed as your partner to keep ourselves, your teams and our solutions updated to ensure we are always on the forward thinking, superior edge of caring for our planet.

Let’s talk a little bit more about recycling and why plastic isn’t being recycled like we think it is…

Only 5-6% of plastic is recycled.

Why isn’t plastic being recycled even when it’s put into recycling- There are no buyers for recycled plastic.  This is primarily because recycled plastic does not maintain its material characteristics, and because companies can purchase virgin plastic at a lower cost.

Over 35-75% of metal is recycled.

Why does metal get recycled at a higher rate than plastic? Recycling facilities have long standing relationships with scrap metal buyers who will always buy aluminum and steel.  Scrap metals are valuable because they retain their material characteristics through many rounds of recycling and are less expensive than virgin materials.

We are dedicated to continuous improvement regarding increasing recycled content with our designs and improving recycling rates. It's our mission to utilize as much recycled metal as possible when fabricating our vessels to promote a sustainable, circular economy.
